Where:

 

 Qhs        = Heat loss for a room due to the structure, Btuh
 Qhw        = Heat loss due to walls, Btuh
 Qhd        = Heat loss due to metal or wooden doors, Btuh
 Qhg        = Heat loss due to windows, skylights, and glass doors, Btuh
 Qhr        = Heat loss due to roofs, Btuh
 Qhf        = Heat loss due to floors, Btuh
