Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Open this page by clicking the Edit button for one of the current duct's fittings on the fitting grid near the bottom of the Duct Data page.

Fitting Picture:  The fitting picture will be shown near the top of this page.

Fitting ID:  Shows the ID of the current fitting that you are editing.  You cannot change a fitting ID here; you can only change a duct's fitting ID from the Duct Data page.

Quantity:  Sets the number of occurrences of the fitting for the current duct.  For most fittings you will leave this input at 1.  For some fittings, such as elbows, the fitting may occur multiple times on the same duct.

Elbow R/D (Elbow Radius or Bend Radius to Duct Diameter Ratio):  Specifies the ratio of the radius of this elbow or bend divided by the diameter of the duct.  Only applicable for the following fittings:

11-B
8-A1
8-A2
8-A3
8-L
8-M

Elbow Angle:  Enter the angle of this elbow or flex duct bend, with straight (no bend) being a zero degree bend angle, a perpendicular turn being 90 degrees, etc..  A bend angle other than 90° will adjust the equivalent length (i.e., a 45° bend will have half the equivalent length of a 90° bend).  Only applicable for the following fittings:

11-B
8-A1
8-B1A
8-B1B
8-B1C
8-B2A
8-B2B
8-B2C
8-B3A
8-B3B
8-B3C
8-C1A
8-C1B
8-C1C
8-C2A
8-C2B
8-C2C
8-C3A
8-C3B
8-C3C

Equivalent Length, Equivalent Length Low, etc.:  These grayed out boxes at the bottom of the page show certain other data for the current fitting.
