Hu = Ht - [(Over x SLM) - Ho]

Where:

 

 Hu        = Unshaded height of glass, feet
 Ht        = Total height of glass, feet
 Over        = Horizontal overhang projection, feet
 SLM        = Shade line multiplier, from Table 3E-1, Manual J 8
 Ho        = Height of overhang above window, feet
